Summer is Just Around The Corner
Summer in Colorado almost always seems to be just around the corner at this time of year. We get the teaser warm weather mixed in with rain, hail, and yes, even snow. Here at the Bean Bag Zone Headquarters, we’re looking forward to warmer days. But in the meantime, we’re taking advantage of these cold days to work out some spring cleaning and landscaping so when the sun really does start to shine with some warmth, we can go outside and play.
Spring cleaning means lots of things, but right now I’m in the details. Cleaning the fridge, cleaning the grout, and washing the covers on our bean bag chairs. We don’t do it often, but believe me, it does make a difference, especially if you have pets. We sell all kinds of beanbags and bean bag furniture for kids and adults, but I have to say that I’m a big fan of the removable, washable cover. You can purchase a liner option with the Fuf Chairs, which enables you to pull the cover off…although I have to admit it’s not easy. And spot cleaning is the recommended treatment for these. But if you want something a little lower maintenance, you might think of going with a Jaxx Sac or an EcoSak. Both come with standard liners (not an upgrade), and both offer machine washable covers. Jaxx Sacs are quickly becoming the most popular bean bag chair out there, and EcoSaks are getting their start here in Colorado as alternative eco friendly furniture. They are made with recycled foam and 100% certified organic cotton covers and liners, and are super soft and comfy. Of course, we have a few. The EcoSak Lounger is the perfect choice for a love seat type bag in my office, because I can put it against the wall and it really doesn’t take up that much room for the size of the bag…it’s more long than round, so it fits. I chose the Chocolate fabric and it really is a rich color that is silky soft. If you’re not into the EcoSak thing, there are plenty of other Bean Bag Couches to choose from if you are looking for the love seat or couch sized bag.
Well, happy spring (and happy spring cleaning) to you wherever you are. I hope we might actually be done with the snow and get a little summer around here soon.
