While I’ve been sitting in my bean bag chair by the pool, summer has started to slip away…
Wow, is it the middle of July already!? What the heck happened? It seems like spring was cold and rainy and slow to give way to summer…and now I’m looking down the calendar, realizing the summer is threatening to leave us. Soon we will be innundated by back to school specials, falling leaves, pumpkins, and thoughts of upcoming holidays. Remember when we were kids and couldn’t wait for time to speed up? The adults would say enjoy it while you can, kid, cause soon life will move too fast and you will wish it could slow down. No kidding. Again, my grandad was right.
Well, for now, I’ll continue chilling on my bean bag chair by the pool, enjoying every minute of summer while I can. OK, well, actually I’m talking about the little bits of chilling out I do between long sessions on the computer, running errands, cooking, cleaning, and generally getting stuff done. But when I can sit down, relax, maybe read a book or play a little music, I do it on a bean bag because that’s just what works!
