- What are your bean bag chairs stuffed with?
- All of our bags are stuffed with expanded virgin polystyrene beads, recycled polystyrene, or foam. We use the highest grade material available to ensure the greatest amount of comfort.
- Are other color options available than what is shown on your site?
- Some of our furniture is only available in the color shown on the picture. Others can be purchased with special order fabrics. If there is a specific bean bag chair you have in mind, please contact our Customer Service and we will find out if that bag is available in your color of choice. - Are the bean bags available in different types of fabrics?
- For the most part, all of our fabric types are listed with each product. We may have additional color options available, however, depending on the style. If there is a particular bag you have an interest in, please contact our Customer Service department and we will check to see if it is available in a special color.
- Is there any warranty?
- We fully support all of our manufacturers' product guarantees. Warranty time frames vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, which include but are not limited to defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This does not apply where the product is misused, abused, altered, or used for other than the intended purpose or where the product is accidentally damaged by the user. All Corda-Roy's covers are guaranteed for life.
- Do you sell replacement foam or beans?
- Yes, we sell both! You may never need to add foam or beans during the life of your bean bag chair, but if you use it a lot and it packs down to the point where you can re-fluff it, it may be time to add a little bit of plump. Before you decide you need new foam, toss your bean bag around a bit...roll it, squish it, toss it until it puffs up again. Most of the time, that's all you need to do, but if you've had your bag for years, sometimes adding a little bit of foam can make all the difference. If you have a bean bag full of polystyrene beans, and it sprung a leak, we sell replacement beans. Or maybe you want to make your own bean bag! You can find replacement foam and beans in our Accessories section.
- How much bean bag refill does it take to fill up my bean bag?
- Refill amounts vary by the size and manufacturer of the bean bag. Please contact our Customer Service department with your bean bag size, manufacturer, and condition of the bag and we'll get back to you with an estimate for a refill amount.
- What if I am unhappy with the bean bag I have purchased?
- We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. Our customers are our top priority and so is your satisfaction. Visit our Return Policy page for more information.
- I can't get my bean bag chair back in its original box to ship back my exchange. What should I do?
- As we ship our bean bag furniture in vacuum packed containers, it will not be possible to replace the chair in the same box for shipping back your exchange. You may try to put the bean bag in a heavy plastic bag and use a vacuum cleaner to suck out the air and compress the size enough to ship in a box that is small enough for economical shipping. Otherwise, find the smallest box you can possibly fit it in, and compress it as much as possible.
You may know that you want to exchange your item for another size or color before you have even opened your package. In this case, we advise you to not take your bean bag chair out of the box, as the box it arrives in is the best package to ship it back in as well.
- Can I exchange my bean bag for something else?
- If you are not satisfied with the item you received, you may exchange it for another item with NO Restocking fee! Limit one exchange per item per order. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

- Are there discounts if I purchase more than one bean bag?
- Yes there are. To accommodate our business clientele or large families, we will discount the bags anywhere from 5-10% for orders of 5 or more bags. Please contact us for further information.
- What happens if the bean bag I want is out of stock?
- Demand for our bean bags has been very high and despite our best intentions, we may temporarily be out of stock of some items or colors. If the bean bag chair you ordered is out of stock, we will contact you to find out if you want to change your order or wait until the item can be manufactured.
- Tell me about the child proof zippers on your bean bags?
- Children’s safety is of paramount importance to us. In the interests of protecting babies and small children from opening the beanbag and the possibility of accidentally swallowing or inhaling the polystyrene beads - we have child proof or tamper resistant zipper pulls standard on ALL our bean bags. Bean bag chairs that arrive assembled have the zipper pull removed so children cannot open them, and bean bags that have some assembly required come with zipper pulls that twist off after assembly. It is the responsibility of the customer to remove these zipper pulls after assembling your bean bag chair. If you need to get into the bean bag for any reason, you can use a paper clip as a zipper pull and then remove it again when you are done.
- What is the inner liner and what is it for?
- The inner liner allows you to remove the cover and change it or wash it. Liners come standard on all Jaxx and EcoSak bean bag chairs, and are an upgrade option for all Foof products.
- What's the difference between a liner and a cover?
- The cover comes in a variety of colors and fabrics and goes on the outside while the liner comes in one fabric and goes on the inside, underneath the cover.
- Is the material for the liner the same as the bean bag?
- It depends on the brand. Foof and Jaxx bags come with a nylon liner that is thinner than the cover material. EcoSak bean bag chairs come with undyed Certified Organic Cotton liners that are the same fabric and thickness as the cover.
- Which covers are machine washable?
- Jaxx, Corda-Roy's and EcoSak covers are machine washable, and Foof covers are to be spot-cleaned only.
- What procedures will I need to follow to clean my bean bag?
- Jaxx and EcoSak covers can be machine washed in cold, and should be either line dried, lay flat to dry, or tumble dry on low or no heat as they may shrink. Corda-Roy's bean bag beds have covers that can be machine washed and dried. Foof covers should be spot cleaned only. Test a small patch of fabric before applying stain remover to a large area to be sure the fabric is colorfast.
- Are the bean bags assembled when shipped?
- Foof bags come assembled when shipped, but if you order the optional liner, you will have to place the cover over the liner as soon as you take the bean bag chair out of the box. Be sure to do this before the bean bag fully expands. Corda-Roy's bean bag beds arrive fully assembled. You will have to place the bean bag bed into the cover in order to use it like a bean bag chair or bean bag sofa. Jaxx Sacs and EcoSaks have some very simple assembly required. See the videos below for a demo of assembly. All of our bean bags are vacuum packed for shipping so even our largest (8-foot!) bean bags arrive in a reasonably sized box.
- Can I order a replacement cover?
- Absolutely. Most all styles have replaceable covers. Contact our Customer Service department for more information.
- Do you ship bean bags internationally?
- At this time, we do not ship to any locations outside the Continental United States, with the exception of Canada, Alaska, and Hawaii. Extra shipping charges do apply for shipping to these locations. Please call or write our customer service department to get an estimate on your shipping costs prior to ordering.
- How big is the box when shipped?
- It depends which style of bean bag chair you order. Boxes start at 16" x 16" x 16" and go up from there. All of our bean bags are vacuum packed for shipping so even our largest (8-foot!) bean bags arrive in a reasonably sized box.
- Can you ship to an APO PO box?
- No, unfortunately UPS and Fed-Ex requires that we ship to a physical address. If you are overseas and want to order a bean bag from us, you could have it shipped to a friend or relative who can forward it to your APO address.
- How can I track the shipment of my bean bag furniture?
- When your bean bag furniture has shipped, you will receive an email from BeanBagZone.com Support with tracking information via Fed Ex or UPS. You can go to the shippers website and enter your tracking number to view the progress of your package.
If you have not yet received a Shipment Notification email, that means your package has not shipped, and you will be hearing from us as soon as it does.
- Why do you vacuum pack your bean bag furniture for shipping?
- Many of our bean bag chairs are so large that shipping would be impossible without vacuum packing them for transport. Please allow one week for your bean bag chair to expand to its full size and shape. Please also keep in mind that your bean bag chair may require some manipulation and handling in order to shape it properly.
